Another day just gone by just like that AND today im going to teach you how to use;

PENDRIVE / THUMBDRIVE / FLASHDRIVE

Usually the purpose of using pendrive are generally just slam in into an "USB" port and store files and stuff from/to computer to/from third party port.

BUT, you can try some different stuff with it; like program it to become autorun program to prank your friend, make it bootable so you can format your own machine, make it become an Operating System, etc etc...

But today Im just going to do some basic, mostly how to format your pendrive or change it to something interesting.

Case 1: How to format

Formatting a pendrive is easy, right-click then fast format; but there is another alternative.

As most of the student pendrive have infected virus or when you have to connect to a public computer port you will get infected. You can easily avoid it if you format if to NTFS format.

Now go to my computer, then right click to your targeted drive; then click format like the picture above.

The pop up will show as the picture above that i uploaded, FAT32 is your usual file system that used in pendrive. Now change the setting like this picture below before formatting.

The gain that you can get from formatting it to NTFS is; you can avoid most of the annoying virus that can infect your pendrive(it worked for me, if your pendrive still infected then you have a annoying powerful virus). The demerit is when you want to transfer any files to your drive, it usually will pop-up a question whether you would like to transfer the files to your drive.

How to see hidden files and change it back to normal

Hello, today I'm going to post about how you can see/change/modified/hide either inside your computer directory or thumbdrive. (Those boys/girls can easily hide your personal file if you have a shared computer..hehe)

Before I begin, I will guide you step by step(with picture of course) and a problem that usually happened in front of my eyes. You can share or teach this to your families and friends when you encounter the same problem that you have previously, a very simple and easy guideline.

CASE STUDY

The following picture will show you how usually you see your infected drive:

As you can see, your folder empty(or maybe a shortcut folder) which leave you baffling of how the bloody hell your folder are loaded when there are nothing inside. To learn how you can see your folders and files when it is hidden see the following picture;

First, go to "Organize" and click on "Folder and search options"

Then, when a pop up appear like the following; 1-Click on "Show hidden files, folders, and drives" and 2-Click "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)", there should be a pop up warning you about un-tick the 2nd one due to the fact that you may cause/accidentally delete any type of systems file. Make sure if you're going to leave it untick you better make sure you don't messing it around by deleting random shit.

Now you know "how to see your hidden files skills" to brag your friends/families with, next stop is how to change it back to normal.(lol)

Usually when you Right-Click the folders/files "Properties" it will give you options to un-hide your junk back to normal. Since some virus/autorun override your files properties it will not give you any 

privilege to give you authorization of changing it back(bummer). 

Introducing ATTRIBUTE CHANGER!!

I would probably called it and "All-cure" for any hidden files disease that keep occurring to anyone one of you that didn't use it. Don't worry it's FREE, you can download it by clicking here or here.

Now to deal with our case study;

To get started, Right-click the files/folder that you want to un-hidden. Then click on the "Change Attribute" option and it will give you as following picture-

As you can see here, the arrow indicate the types of files that are available in your multiple selection(in simpler term, when you have files and folder selected together).
Untick the "Hidden"(which allow to on/off the hidden option) and "System"(which grant the file a 'system' properties that you can't do shit about when you want to change the hidden option before I introduce you to A.C); Apply the changes both "Folder Properties" and "File Properties" to see result;

Boom! As you can see your folders/files are back to norm, should be normal until the next time you connect to another computer and have the same problem again.

As far as I could concern about this info, it is easy to use but don't abuse it. You can use it to prank someone(lol), or just hide your porno and stuff...Until next time, PEACE!

About my past self...

Today imma gonna write some thang here, not much but just the summary of my adolescent year. it was quite tough for me to adapt on that time. If you know the past me, "geek and weird" is suitable for me(not much that changed though).

Anyway, i was born and raised in Papar, family business is selling vegetable(so yeah, unlimited vegetable for dinner).during my high school year i was quite timid and only few that quite fond to me, form 1-3 are quite ordinary to me. so im going to skip it.

Form 4 is the beginning of my life, form 4 is quite the difficult time for me. I was rejected(will write about it in the future) and been through a slight depression, i had no one that i was willing to share my problem and make things worse my grade are failing and i dont have any motivation to study. Until i found back what i lost awhile back, the stories goes like this; I was working in my family stall, then a cook(regular vegetable customer) ask me what i want to be after spm, i jokingly tell them i want to become a chef, quite the foolish answer but somehow i felt happy for some reason. So i started checking out what kind of future to become a chef, a teacher tell me if i want to pursue it try "Culinary", "Kuli-Nari"? lol, i searched for it, thus started to take more interest to cooking. i cook at home, i cook for my parents, helping hand for my cousin wedding in the kitchen bla bla bla cooking. and thats how i started to become more open to other and also out from my depression.

Form 5, the time that i become more matured(lol); i was active in clubs and my librarian duty, learn my IT skill from my sifu(a facilitator in my school). not an expert but at least i was quite fast with my hand in computer software(i don't know how to hack so don't ask me about it). It was fun time where i found my new crush(that time she got a boyfriend so a no-no), it was not visible and i only treat her as a friend. After SPM, a group of rascal(me and three other plus two more) become temp teacher in my old school. it was only to pass our time before we go on our separate ways. up and down experience, not much to expect but still quite a lot of memories and bonding are made there.

But then in November 2011 i got into college for three year, remembered it back made me feel old already(lol). 2 years of my college life was not quite different but the remaining year brings back alot of memories. I was able to feel loved and be loved, lost, and more; its not like high school for sure, but i will write about it for my next post.

Starting Over Again

Hello, a proper title for a proper way to start things up abit; thus, a proper introduction is require from me. Let me introduce myself.

• The name that you should remember is "Rod", currently 22yo this year and just finished my college(still awaiting my graduation date next year).
• Now working as commis 3 in cold kitchen department hotel in Kota Kinabalu.
• Usually I would be keeping a diary to write on it but sometimes sharing is also okay, not all will be publicly published though.
• Most of the topic that I will publish would be what I like to share mostly to remind myself and also share to all of you who bump into it. And yes, that would be including my personal life experience and also knowledge that I have learned. Be warned "IF YOU KNOW ME IN REAL LIFE AND READ MY BLOG PLEASE REFRAIN FROM ASKING SENSITIVE QUESTION" and thank you for understanding.

Yes, it's been awhile since the last time I post something in my blog...
And I was wondering how much time that I have spend myself with the free time I got from the world.

It started two months ago, everything was changed after a click of a button.
"Yes", the button that I click with my mouse cursor in the Facebook webpage. After for awhile, she came to me saying "Hi :)"
and then I will continue this story after I finished in my other draft...

Last from this blog!

From today onward I'll be posting something new in my blog, it's a little hobby of mine to shared the knowledge that I have learned from the past year to today in IT-related.
Some of you know me, but for those who didn't let me tell a little something that shorten. I was born and raised in Papar, Sabah. I only recently studied IT-related(2011-Present) from my mentor, Ronny Jimmy Malis. He was a great Man, Mentor, and a great Friend, and he is still alive.

Now I'm taking Diploma in Culinary Arts and set IT-related as a hobby of mine. The purpose that I will set a new blog is to show most people (especially student) to learn more of IT as the new Era of IT is already reach it's peak, it is a waste to learn it from IT-class when you can just learn everything in the internet. All I ever see people this day(in my area mostly) only use internet for Social network, Video streaming and Gaming only. So I had made a page in Facebook to share knowledge that I have learned from the past recent year.

Although is still under construction, I hope it will help you all in the future//

It sadden me....

Months after I come back to my sweet home, I realize that my planted pumpkin have died out. It’s quite sad since I really took care of it and harvest it even though it was only one time. Now what left of it are only branches and dried up leaves, but it will not stopping me to grow them again. When I have the time again I will plow a bigger field and plant more pumpkin seed to the plowed field, it was not about money but it’s about the satisfaction that I gained from this kind of stuff…
